As a certified teacher of Stage Combat with the Society of American Fight Directors, I have taught various stage combat classes in workshops, conferences, for school groups from 8 th grade and up and individuals. I teach stage combat technique with a variety of stage weapons for beginners and advanced. I can teach a SAFD certification class for groups and individuals.

As a consultant I am available to address concerns over choreography, intimate moments in a script or the degree an Intimacy Choreographer might be needed for a production. I can talk to the Cast, crew, the Director or production crew, or conduct a boundary workshop for an acting class.

Intimacy Coordinators are advocates, liaisons and movement coach/choreographers in regards to nudity, simulated sex and other forms of intimacy and hyperexposed scenes in film and television. They work as a liaison between performers and production. Much like a stunt coordinator, they help performers create step-by-step choreography for such scenes. In addition, they uphold and protect emotional and physical boundaries using the tools of consent, communication, choreography, context, and closure to help in telling the story of various type of scenes of intimacy. They help manage Modesty Garments and closed set protocols.
Every production has its own story, tone, and physical language. Denise works collaboratively with directors and performers to develop movement and choreography that feels intentional, clear, and connected to the world of the production.
